CLASSIC CLOSEOUTS complaint by Vivekrs
I have been charged $69.99 from POS DEBIT CLASSIC CLOSEOUTS 18664226397 NY on my debit card.

I have bought from them once. I tried calling them, but in vain. They are a bunch of idiots!

I was shocked to see this - I hadn't purchased anything for so much lately.

A quick search on Google revealed how corrupt these people are!

Be careful out there folks. Don't buy from them. Even if you do, make sure that you block you card from them after making a payment.

I hope my bank reimburses this money to me now. ***!

I too have had two charges within the last month for $69.99 ea. One on 8/4/08 and one on 8/22/08. My last purchase from them was 2/8/05! The debit card on file expired 5/2007 even though the card number did not change. I have contacted them to get my money back and reported the fraud to my bank. We'll see what happens. :cry :( :(

I think it might have been my subtle yet psycho tact of trying. First, I went to the website, dropped my card and then changed my password. Then on the site they have 25\7 customer support where you can email questions with a drop down list of 10 or so options that you can choose. And here is the message that I sent repeatedly. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. YOUR COMPANY HAS MADE UNAUTHORIZED DEBITS TO MY ACCOUNT. 7/30/2008 FOR 79.99 AND 8/1/2008 FOR 69.99. I HAVE CONTACTED MY BANK TO REISSUE MY CARD AND WILL BE CONTACTING NY BBB, THE NY ATTORNEY GENERAL ANDREW CUOMO, IC3.gov ALONG WITH ILLINOIS ATTORNEY GENERAL LISA MADIGAN ABOUT THE FRAUD. PLEASE RESPOND, to all the different options. Then this place sent me an email with their ‘new’ specials, so I fired back to that one the same message prolly about 10 to 15 times. I also called and left numerous messages on the voice mail system which has 7 different options. I tried them all. Yesterday I filed a complaint with the bbb of ny.

Go on the FBI website file a complain with the internet crime board This happened to many many people.The company should be sued and prosecuted :cry

I have also found a charge for $69.99 on my account today and I have never purchased from them. When the card company tried to contact them, the phone just rang and rang. I am pissed too.

I too just found a pending charge on my account today for them and I have never purchased from them! It was also for $69.99. I will be calling my bank in the morning to find out how to dispute this.
